Women and men that have gone through breast reconstruction after a mastectomy, can have the final touches completed with 3D nipple & areola, Medical Tattoo restoration.

A boost to body image

Using pigments to match the original or remaining nipple/areola a tattoo can restore the areas and also help cover up any scarring from the surgery. These treatments provide an important part in giving a substantial boost to body image, confidence and gain a sense of normality while getting on with life again.

Combining experience, artistic ability and proper colour selection, tattoos can create the illusion of real nipples/areola’s post mastectomy. The effects are perfectly realistic and natural.

Professional, personal help

"This is the final step in their reconstruction journey."

Miss El Truchan, is a certified permanent makeup, microblading, microneedling and medical tattoo specialist from Perfect Definition. El says her goal is to "work closely with each client to ensure they achieve the best result. This is the final step in their reconstruction journey and helps them feel whole again."

"I feel very privileged to be able to help people through her treatments by giving clients back their confidence to feel good about themselves and to help them carry on with their day-to-day lives."

What to expect

Recreating the nipple and areola is the final component in breast reconstruction. Some patients are comfortable without having a nipple, and do not wish to have further surgery. Others choose the non-surgical option of tattooing without invasive reconstruction.

Medical Tattooing allows colour pigmentation to simulate the nipple and/or areola; creating a 3D image of an actual nipple, montgomery glands and areola texture. This gives the most natural realistic looking results.

During a consultation, you will discuss colours, shape and placement of the new nipples/areolas and the aftercare. The areas will be measured for the symmetry and positioning. El explains how she mixes custom colour blends.

Microblading and permanent makeup eyebrows

Some people loose their eyebrows during cancer treatment and while for some they grow back, for others they don’t. Microblading or permanent makeup can help to bring back little piece of something that's missing.

The great thing about microblading and permanent makeup is that it offers a natural-looking alternative if you have completely lost your eyebrows and are awaiting them to grow back, dealing with long term eyebrow loss, or even just experiencing eyebrow thinning.
