The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Air Pollution membership is made up of MPs and peers who promote measures to tackle poor air quality. The 12 sets of proposals in its June 2020 report ‘Air Quality Strategy to Reduce Coronavirus’ was backed my 90 MPs and peers in a letter to the Prime Minister.

Geraint Davies MP is the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Air Pollution and serves on the Environmental Fisheries and Rural Affairs Committee. His Clean Air Bill has cross-party support, with 125 MPs calling for it to be incorporated in the National Government’s Air Quality Strategy.

Breathing Matters is proud to support this Respiratory Health Campaign again this year.  Breathing Matters aims to improve the lives of every pulmonary fibrosis and respiratory infection sufferer by finding treatments and cures through raising funds and awareness. We support research at UCL Respiratory, one of the world’s leading Respiratory research units. Part of UCLH Charity (registered charity #1165398).

The Association of Respiratory Nurse Specialists (ARNS) was established in 1997 as a nursing forum to champion the specialty respiratory nursing community, promote excellence in practice, and influence respiratory health policy. Allergy UK is the leading UK patient charity for those living with all types of allergy. The charity’s mission is to raise the profile of allergy at all levels, with a vision for everyone affected by allergy to receive the best possible care and support.

The European Federation of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and other Related Disorders (EU-IPFF) will be hosting the first European IPF Patient Summit on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) in Warsaw, Poland from April 26-28, 2020. We will bring together patient groups, healthcare professionals and industry representatives to discuss research, person-centred care, policy and advocacy for IPF and ILDs.

Asthma UK work to stop asthma attacks and, ultimately cure asthma by funding world leading research and scientists, campaigning for improved care and supporting people with asthma to reduce their risk of a potentially life-threatening asthma attack.
